Backseat Full of Empties Leads to Impaired Charges

A Keswick man allegedly had a not-so-subtle way of letting folks know he was drinking and driving. South Simcoe Police got the call around 8:30 last night that a pickup driver was seen tossing beer cans out the window along Yonge St. in Innisfil. Officers tracked the vehicle to Stroud, saying they could smell booze on the driver’s breath. Over a dozen empty beer cans were said to be behind the driver’s seat. A 63-year-old man was taken back to the stationhouse to be charged with Impaired Driving.
