Barrie Chamber “Leading The Charge” In Calling For Affordable, Transparent Energy Price Policies

Barrie’s Chamber of Commerce is calling on the province to make affordable, transparent energy price policies. The local chamber is pairing up with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce to make recommendations to the Ontario Government’s Long Term Energy Plan. The Barrie chamber says it is “leading the charge” in calling on the province to ensure future energy price policies are affordable, transparent, and flexible. “Ontario is at a turning point in its planning process regarding the future energy needs of the province.” said Rod Jackson, CEO of the Barrie Chamber of Commerce. “In order for businesses in Barrie to grow and succeed, it is imperative that future energy policies respect the concerns of businesses and support future economic growth,”
