Barrie Man Facing DUI Charge After Police Sniff Around Parked Car
OPP Lay Charges During Lunchtime Call
A man is up on drunk driving charges after someone spotted a vehicle parked at the side of the road. The OPP were called to the parked vehicle on County Road 5 near County Road 15 around 12:30 Monday afternoon and say the driver reeked of booze. They took the 51-year-old man down to the stationhouse and say he blew three times the legal limit. The Barrie man had his licence and vehicle taken from him in exchange for a court date.
