Barrie Man Hit With Drug Dealing Charge

Erratic Driving Lead To Vehicle Search

A Barrie man is up on drug dealing charges after they say he was caught driving erratically though town. Barrie Police got a number of calls Saturday night around 9:30 about a vehicle racing along Bayfield Street. The car was stopped near Hanmer, and police say the driver confessed to taking some cocaine and prescription pills before getting behind the wheel. A search of the car turned up a bit of pot, and some paperwork indicating he was selling drugs. The female passenger was wanted for failing to show up for fingerprints following an earlier criminal charge, and was also arrested.
