Barrie Man Is Walking After A Car Ends Up On The Front Lawn

Police Say Alcohol Was Involved

A crash in Barrie has one man looking at charges. Barrie Police say they got the call to Edgehill Drive around 11:00 yesterday morning, with reports a vehicle had lost control and ended up on someone’s front lawn. Witnesses say two people got out of the car after the crash and booted it on foot. A search of the area turned up the driver, and police took the 53-year-old man down to the stationhouse for a breathalyser test. They say he failed the test, so the man’s licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for a week, which means he’ll walk to the courthouse later this month.
