Barrie Panhandler Charged With Skipping Court Date

A familiar face landed one man back in jail. Barrie Police say they spotted a panhandler at Mapleview Dr. at the 400 ramp, who just happened to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. He was due in Barrie court last month over allegations of theft from a grocery store in February. The 37-year-old man was locked up until he could appear in court today.
