Barrie Police Warn Of Gift Card Scam
Cards may be worthless
A word of warning from Barrie Police about a scam involving fraudulent gift cards sold through internet groups and on websites. These cards are offered at a price less than their face value. Police are investigating complaints of a man using the aliases ‘Rick Saunders’ and ‘Rick Carr’ selling cards on Kijiji and other buy and sell sites.
