A memorial dedication is set to begin just before 10 this morning with a parade at the Spirit Catcher along the water Front. It is in commemoration of the Battle of the Atlantic and the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets and the Navy League of Canada, Barrie Branch will be taking part. The Battle was the longest of the Second World War. It lasted from 1939 to 1945. Over 2-thousand Canadians lost their lives in the battle.
