Beer Bandit Sought
Smuggled case out under arm
Surveillance footage is in from a beer theft last month in Barrie. Police say a man entered The Beer Store on Bayfield Street just before 10pm March 28 and while the clerk was assisting other customers concealed a case of beer under his jacket and left the store without paying. The case was under his arm, hidden from the view of the clerk as he walked by.
The suspect is described as:
- Male, black
- Approximately 30-years-old
- Approximately 170lbs, medium build
- Short black hair
- Wearing a black puffy coat with grey hood, blue jeans and white shoes
