Saturday April 16 – Check the pantry. Looking for Nature’s Touch Organic Berry Cherry Blend, a frozen berry mix sold at Costco. Health Canada says it’s been linked to a dozen cases of Hepatitis A. The 1.5 kilogram package with a best before date of March 15,  2018 (UPC code 8 73668 00179 1) is suspect. If you have this product Health Canada says either throw it out or take it back to store it came from. Hepatitis A can cause inflammation of the liver, and sufferers can experience a wide range of symptoms including fever, low appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle aches, and jaundice. Symptoms are usually mild and last one or two weeks, however, in severe cases can last several months.
