Bracebridge-Area Fisherman Killed When Sled Goes into Open Water
Elderly Man Pronounced Dead At Hospital
An elderly man has lost his life, after a snowmobile went into the water near Bracebridge. Witnesses say he was fishing in the Bowyers Beach area around 8:00 Thursday evening, then packed up his belongings and drove his snowmobile out onto the open water. The 78-year-old man was pronounced deceased at hospital.
