Britons Vote To Go

Will leave European Union

There is uncertainty in Europe this morning, uncertainty on world stock markets. Britons have voted to leave the European Union. The vote was 51.8% in favour, 48.2% against. The news sent European markets into an immediate nosedive, the British Pound has tumbled to a 31-year low, Asian markets have been taking measures to halt the freefall. Western markets are just awaking to the news, the Dow opened down 501 points. Add to this mix the resignation of British Prime Minister David Cameron, and others in the European Union now pondering votes of their own.
