Callers Demanding Payment Of Bogus Bills In Orillia
Be wary of scam, say police
Some threatening calls being made in the Orillia area. OPP have been getting complaints from people who said they were told they owed money and would be be arrested if they didn’t pay up. In one case, the caller identified himself as a Revenue Canada employee. If you get one of these calls police advise you hang up; do not give out any personal information; do not send any cash.
