We are hearing bits and pieces of what may be in Canada’s Syrian refugee settlement plan in advance of an announcement from the government expected tomorrow. CBC says the plan will include families, women and children, but no unaccompanied men. This is to address security concerns that militants might slip in with asylum seekers. Ottawa plans to allow 25-thouand refugees into Canada by the end of the year.
