Chainsaw Involved In Barrie Home Invasion
Police Say One Of Three Bandits Armed With Power Saw
A home invasion reportedly involved a bad guy with a chainsaw. Barrie Police say around 4:30 Saturday morning, three men forced their way into an Essa and Gowan area home, and threatened the residents inside. One of the three was said to be armed with a chainsaw, but the trio fled before any harm was done. Police tracked down the three suspects not far away, and say the incident was drug related. The three men in their twenties, all from Barrie, are facing charges of Break and Enter, Weapons Dangerous, Uttering Death Threats, and Obstructing Police.
