Charge Laid Following Ride in Borrowed Getaway Car
Everett Man Allegedly Borrowed Friend's Car To Commit Crime
A Everett man is up on charges after borrowing his buddy’s car. Barrie Police say someone lifted a television from the Bayfield St. Walmart on Saturday evening, but Loss Prevention Officers were able to get a licence plate number off the suspected getaway car first. Police tracked the plate number to an address not far off… a block away on Kozlov Street. The registered owner didn’t know anything about the theft, but his visiting buddy allegedly fessed up to the crime. The 33-year-old man has been charged with Theft and Possession of Stolen Property.
