Charges Laid After Bradford Pedestrian Struck

Pedestrian Allegedly Dragged By Truck For 500m

Charges have been laid after a pedestrian was struck in Bradford. This crash happened on the afternoon of March 6th, South Simcoe Police say a person was walking along Holland St. when he was struck by a pickup truck at Melbourne Dr. and dragged about half a kilometer, before witnesses were able to draw the driver’s attention to the problem. The pedestrian was rushed to hospital, while police began their investigation. They’ve since charged the 33-year-old Bradford driver with Careless Driving and Failure To Wear Seatbelt.
