Charges Laid Following Fatal 404 Crash
Three Killed in Head On Collision
A Scarborough man has been charged in connection to a crash on the 404 that claimed three lives. The collision closed all lanes of the northbound 404 at Stouffille Rd on the afternoon of October 27th, just before 5:00. Police say a southbound vehicle crossed the ditch and entered the northbound lanes, striking another car head on. Three people, aged 58, 63, and 69, all from Aurora, were killed in the crash. A 28-year-old man, still in hospital, is facing a charge of Careless Driving and Failure to Wear Seatbelt.
