Charges Laid In Theft Of Poppy Box
Police Received Tips Prior To Arrest.
After receiving numerous tips from the public, Barrie Police were able to make an arrest in the theft of a poppy box from a Barrie grocery store. On Sunday November 1st Police say a woman was caught on video surveillance putting the box into one of her grocery bags while the cashier was distracted. A 38 year old Barrie woman has been charged with theft under 5-thousand dollars.
