Charges Possible Following Ambulance Collision

Investigation Is Ongoing

Charges are expected to be laid following a collision that closed down Young Street in Innisfil for several hours last night. Police say the speed and road conditions are being considered as contributing factors to the crash. South Simcoe Police say a woman had to be extricated from her vehicle after she lost control and crashed head on into an oncoming ambulance. The 21 year old Innisfil woman is expected to make a full recovery. The paramedics and the student they had on board were taken to hospital as a precaution.
