University of Washington Under Fire Over Do's and Dont's for Potential Cheerleaders
Tryouts are coming up for the University of Washington Cheer Sqaud, so they thought this “Do’s and Dont’s” post was appropriate to help aspiring cheerleaders see what they’re looking for.
Since posting it, they were flooded with messages, accusing the organization of valuing appearance over ability.
While they have since removed the post, it has brought up a larger conversation about dress codes and body shaming.
