Child Porn Charges Laid Against Orillia Man Following Military Events

Allegations He Wore Medals He Didn't Earn Lead To Search of Home

Serious charges for an Orillia man after they say he wore medals he didn’t earn. Complaints came to the OPP that a local man had been attending local Legion-sponsored events wearing medals that weren’t awarded to him. When police went to search the suspect’s home, they say items were located that related to the accessing and possession of Child Pornography. The 62-year-old man was arrested and charged with Possession of and Accessing Child Porn, Obstructing Police, Unlawful Use of Military Uniforms, and Fraud.
