Christmas Day Timmies Break In Suspect Left Empty Handed
Suspect Caught on Camera After Allegedly Smashing Coffee Shop Window
Police are trying to find out who was behind an unsuccessful Christmas Day break in. Barrie Police say around 2:00 on the morning of December 25th, someone took a crowbar to the drivethru window of a Tim Horton’s on Barrie View Drive, but was unable to open the sliding window. She allegedly tried prying open the rear main door before smashing a window the the crowbar and crawling in. Officers say store surveillance shows her crawling around the store, looking for areas where money might be kept. After finding nothing worth taking, police say the woman left the shop, after only three minutes. She’s described as:

- 120lbs
- 40 to 50 years of age

- green jacket with fluorescent yellow underarms
- black hoodie
- red vinyl coated gardening gloves
- dark pants
- deck shoes
