Colgate Finally Launches Its Recyclable Toothpaste Tube

It's vegan and can be recycled...What?????

Colgate Finally launches its recyclable toothpaste tube made from the same type of plastic as milk containers..  The brand says its new vegan-certified toothpaste also comes in a recyclable tube; the first for the industry…

The product developer says this project took five years to achieve… As of now, most toothpaste tubes are made from plastic and aluminum- so you can’t really recycle it…

Colgate says it hopes that soon you will be able to toss the toothpaste tubes in the blue bin.  The new Smile for Good toothpaste tube is made from high density polyethylene (HDPE).

Colgate says its toothpaste contains minimal ingredients, made with many natural sources.  Most toothpastes, on the other hand, contain glycerin made from animal fat.

The new toothpaste lists each of its ingredients, 99.7% natural and certified by the Vegan Society.

Colgate-Palmolive (CL), which owns the Colgate brand, is pledging to use 100% recyclable packaging on all its products by 2025.

Many big companies are all going green, attempting to undo some of the damage that’s been done…
