Commercial Vehicle Blitz Takes 20 Vehicles Off The Roads
Bradford-based Blitz Saw 35 Vehicles Inspected
A surprise spot check kept South Simcoe Police busy. The local police service joined up with York Regional Police and the OPP to conduct a commercial vehicle safety blitz yesterday. They were checking trucks at the Bob Fallis Arena in Bradford and say of the 35 vehicles inspected, 20 of them were taken out of service. Police say brakes, load security, overweight trucks, and improper driver licencing among the 45 violations handed out.
