Cyclist Killed In Schomberg-Area Collision

Elderly New Tecumseth Man Struck By Vehicle

A 70-year-old cyclist has been killed after a collision near Schomberg. South Simcoe Police closed off Bradford Line 4 between 5th Sideroad and Highway 27 just before 7:30 this morning, saying the elderly New Tecumseth man was struck by a vehicle there. The roadway was expected to reopen before noon, while no charges have been laid. Speed and alcohol have been ruled out as causes of the collision.
