Distraction Theft Suspect Caught On Camera

Police Say She Kept Clerk Busy While He Took A Five Finger Discount

Barrie Police sent us a picture of a young man they’d like to speak to, after a distraction theft was reported in Barrie. Investigators say a man and woman went into the Mac’s on Grove St. around 3:40 last Saturday morning, and the woman went right to the front counter. Police say she distracted the clerk, while the man started gathering items from the shelves. He allegedly booted it from the store without paying.

  • Wearing a grey baseball hat, black jacket, dark pants, gloves and white shoes.
