40 Pounds Of Pot Discovered During Search

A drug deal, that police were on hand to watch, has left three people facing charges. York Regional Police arrested two men near Weston Road and Major Mackenzie Drive over the weekend when police observed the deal go down. Later that same day, a third person was arrested after a search warrant was conducted on a residence in Vaughn when police say they discovered 40 pounds of marijuana, with an estimated street value of 100-thousand dollars. They also discovered a 2007 BMW and 15-thousand dollars in cash. The two men and one woman face possession and trafficking charges.
