DUI Charge Laid At Barrie Gentlemen’s Club

Police Tipped Off By Driver's Slow Speed

A Wasaga Beach teen will be walking for the foreseeable future, after a traffic stop in west-end Barrie. Around 3:30 this morning, a Barrie Police officer on patrol claims to have seen a vehicle driving westbound along Dunlop St. at a very low rate of speed. Police trailed the vehicle to a local adult entertainment establishment, where officers turned on the red flashing lights to speak to the driver. That’s when police say the woman at the wheel failed a roadside test and was taken back to the station. The 19-year-old woman spent the night in the drunk tank after police charged her with a DUI, suspended her licence and impounded her ride.
