This year’s Troubadour Festival takes place at the beautiful Meridian Place Amphitheatre, located in downtown Barrie, ON, with Kempenfelt Bay as a stunning backdrop, a truly wonderful setting for an open-air concert. In 2022 the festival will feature Canada’s best party band, Dwayne Gretzky, on Friday night and the reigning couple of Celtic fiddle, Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy, on Saturday night. In addition, fans will be treated to performances by R & B singer Dylan Sinclair, fun Beatles tribute band The Shitty Beatles, soul songstress Lydia Persaud, power pop band PONY, and up and coming pop artist Josh Bogert.

Troubadour Festival is a relaxed, family-friendly music festival that draws people from all over Ontario to enjoy world-class singer/songwriters, amazing entertainers, and great live music. More than 6000 music lovers have enjoyed the festival since its inception in 2018, enjoying more than 65 artists from various genres.

Through the years Troubadour Festival has featured many nationally recognized music artists including Cowboy Junkies, Basia Bulat, Joel Plaskett Emergency, Matt Andersen, Martha Wainwright, Born Ruffians, The Weather Station, and Whitehorse.
