DESCRIPTION:Following a strong community response to last summer’s pilot event\, Choice Properties is bringing back Lots of Zen for a second year\, expanding the wellness initiative into a FREE weekly outdoor yoga series running every Sunday through August 23. Presented in partnership with Bradford-based Breathe Hot Yoga\, the program transforms shared outdoor space into a welcoming community hub focused on movement\, mindfulness\, and connection. The series officially launches on Sunday\, May 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (rain date: Sunday\, June 7) at 500 Holland St. W.\, featuring free outdoor yoga\, wellness experiences\, local vendors\, smoothies\, lawn games\, and family-friendly programming. \nWhat began as a one-day pilot event last summer quickly revealed a strong appetite for accessible outdoor wellness programming in Bradford\, inspiring the expansion into a full summer-long series for 2026. At the heart of the launch celebration is a free all-levels outdoor yoga class from 9:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.\, led by Natasha Richards from Breathe Hot Yoga. Whether attendees are seasoned yogis or total beginners\, the guided class is designed to help participants stretch\, breathe\, and reset outdoors in a relaxed\, approachable setting. \nAttendees participating in yoga are encouraged to arrive between 9:00 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. for check-in and bring a yoga mat\, water bottle\, and comfortable clothing. The first 30 yoga participants will receive a complimentary gift from Choice Properties (participants must take part in the yoga class to receive a gift). Yoga participants will also receive a complimentary post-class smoothie from Stacked. Beyond yoga\, the launch event will feature a curated mix of drop-in wellness experiences and local community vendors\, creating an inclusive morning designed for residents of all ages.

DESCRIPTION:The Cookstown Antique and Vintage show\, coming up May 23\, takes place outdoors on a ten acre field.  More than eighty dealers\, 160-odd tables\, on the grass at the Steam Show Grounds in Cookstown.\n\nThere's a special vibe around an outdoor antique show.  In spacious surroundings\, on grassy fields\, dealers bring larger loads - lots more to see.  The food trucks are cranking out their specialties.  You can smell the onions frying!  No question - strolling around a lovely outdoor venue is a great way to shop for antiques and vintage.\n\nTrucks packed to the doors are coming from all parts of Ontario - including a dozen from Simcoe County - plus half a dozen from Quebec.  This makes for real diversity - shoppers can find hundreds of categories of furniture and collectibles.\n\nThe Steam Show grounds are at 4635 Victoria St. W. in Cookstown.  The show runs Saturday\, May 23 from 8am until 4pm.  Admission is $12\, kids under 13 are free and on-site parking is also free.\n\nMore information about the show can be found at www.antiqueshowscanada.com
