Ex-Boyfriend Sought Following Row Over Drugs

Victim Accused of Stealing Drugs, Received Beating

Officers are on the hunt for an Innisfil man after an altercation over some drugs. South Simcoe Police were contacted by a man on Monday, claiming he’d been assaulted by his ex-boyfriend. The victim says he, the ex, and a third guy were all hanging out at an Innisfil home and doing drugs, when the drugs suddenly went missing. The ex accused the victim of stealing them, allegedly punching him a few times before threatening to kill him. The victim and the third man were able to get away to call police. Officers looked for the ex-boyfriend to no avail, and now have an arrest warrant waiting for when they locate their 50-year-old Innisfil suspect, who will face a charge of Assault, and Threatening Death.
