Fail To Remain Crash Reported In North End Barrie

A Sudbury-area man will have to venture back to Midland for a court date, after a fail to remain crash was reported. Southern Georgian Bay OPP got the call of a crash on the northbound 400 near Duckworth St. in Barrie, amd that the vehicle involved had taken off. Police tracked down the suspect vehicle a short time later, and claim the driver reeked of booze. The 51-year-old man failed a roadside breath test and was taken down to the stationhouse for more testing. He is facing a DUI charge and a December court date.
