Fairly Quiet Night For Barrie Police

Barrie Police were able to prevent an impaired driver from leaving the downtown area early this morning. Around 2:30 police say after speaking with the driver it was evident to them that alcohol was present. A road side test was given. Which she failed.  The driver now has a date with a judge. Also last night, Police were called to an area McDonald’s in regards to a domestic assault. After some confusion as to who they were talking to police were able to get the story straight. The male suspect was arrested for obstructing police and was held for a bail hearing.
