Father Charged After Amber Alert Out of Aurora
Toronto Man Accused Of Assaulting Mother, Kidnapping Child
Charges have been laid in connection to an Amber Alert earlier this week. York Regional Police say they have charged a 35-year-old Toronto man, after they say he broke into an Aurora home, assaulted the mother of his child and took their 4-year-old daughter. The child was recovered following a collision in Pembroke. The father has been charged with Abduction, Break and Enter, and two counts of Assault. The Special Investigations Unit continues to probe the cause of the crash, while the OPP have begun a review of the Amber Alert process.
