Police Say Guy Left Store With $400 in Groceries

Theft of Groceries from Southend ZehrsCops are on the hunt for a suspected bandit after Barrie Police say he got some free Thanksgiving groceries. Officers claim this guy went into the Zehrs store at Yonge and Big Bay Point, and walked out with about 400 bucks in seafood, meats, dairy, and frozen foods. Loss Prevention Officers tried to stop the guy, he allegedly fled on foot. He is described as:

  • Male
  • white
  • 6′ tall
  • Approximately 30-years-old
  • Brown hair

Last seen wearing:

  • Brown Quebec Nordiques baseball hat
  • Brown hooded sweatshirt
  • Jeans
  • Black DC shoes
