Barrie Man Also Banned From Owning Firearms

An Orillia man charged in an explosion last March in Barrie has been sentenced. A Collete Crescent home ended up with massive damage after an explosion inside the garage. Several people were injured in the explosion. Police say the garage was being used as a drug lab. Four people were in the garage at the time of the explosion, 8 children and 2 other adults were inside the home. Thirty-six year old Robert Debendictis was handed a 5 year jail term. He is also banned from owning firearms.
