Former Nurse Charged In Eight Nursing Home Deaths

First Degree Murder Charges Following Deaths in Woodstock, London

A Woodstock nurse has been charged in connection to the murder of eight nursing home residents. The 49-year-old woman, said to be an employee of a long-term care facilities in London and Woodstock, has been charged with First Degree Murder, after police say she administered a drug to her patients, resulting in the death of eight people, ages ranging from 75-96. Police say the deaths occurred between 2007 and 2014, with seven victims in Woodstock, one in London. The suspect nurse resigned on September 30th, just a day after police began an investigation into these deaths.
