Fourteen-Year OPP Veteran Charged With Drunk Driving

The OPP have charged one of their own with Drunk Driving. Around 10:30 Friday night, police pulled a vehicle over for speeding along Highway 12 near Midland. The driver was allegedly showing signs of impairment, and was arrested. Provincial Police say the 14-year member of the OPP, based out of Headquarters in Orillia, will be in Midland court next week.
