Garth Brooks To Perform For Biden!
Garth’s decision to perform was not politically motivated
Wednesday, the world will watch Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s inauguration and country music’s biggest star will be there too!
Garth Brooks will be performing at the ceremony as a “statement of unity.”
During a press conference on Monday, Brooks said, “This is a great day in our household. This is not a political statement, this is a statement of unity.” He continued, ”This is history. And it’s an honor, this is how I get to serve this country.”
Brooks also managed to crack a joke, saying that he may be the only republican there!
The country star also performed at Barak Obama’s first inauguration in 2009, and was invited to perform at President Trump’s 2017 inauguration, but bowed out due to a conflict with his tour schedule.
