Security System Failure Brings Gambling To A Halt
The card tables were empty at Georgian Downs for just over an hour last night after a surveillance system failure. The gaming floor at the casino had to be evacuated as per protocol, when security is an issue.
Security was restored just after 9 PM but many gamblers had already thrown down the dice… by that time.
