“Hello,” Is It #1 You’re Calling For? Good News for Adele
Adele's "Hello" Ties "Rolling In the Deep for Longest at #1
Remember way back when “Rolling in the Deep” just stayed at #1 on the Billboard charts? Well U.K. songstress Adele has done it again, as “Hello” passes week 19 on the Adult Contemporary (AC) charts.
Adele’s other AC Charts hits include “Someone Like You” (which stayed at #1 for 5 weeks) and “Set Fire to the Rain” (11 weeks.)
Adele is also in the news this weekend for blasting people who pressure women to breastfeed. At a concert in London, she said “All I wanted to do was breastfeed my kid and then I couldn’t and I felt like, ‘If I was in the jungle now back in the day, my kid would be dead because my milk’s gone.’ Imagine how that makes me feel. It’s not funny.”
