High Miler Charges Laid In New Tecumseth

Radar Gun Says Teen Was Going Over Twice The Limit

Police say they stopped a teen with a bad case of Lead Foot. Around 8:00 Wednesday morning, Nottawasaga OPP say their radar gun clocked a vehicle zipping along 10th Sideroad near the 6th line of New Tecumseth, at a speed of about 140km an hour. That is well over twice the posted limit of 60km/h. The 17-year-old Bradford boy was charged with Stunt Driving, which means his licence was automatically suspended and his vehicle impounded.
