High-Miler Stopped In Innisfil

“Here,” said an Innisfil man to his buddy. “Here are the keys, take my new car for a drive.” And his 20 year old buddy did, revved the thing up to 112 kph along Innisfil Beach Road Sunday morning, past a South Simcoe Police officer on patrol. The speed limit on that stretch is 60 kph. The driver has been charged with Speeding and Stunt Driving. The owner will be watiing seven days before he can drive his new car again…it’s been impounded.
