Police are calling it a high risk take down, but that’s all they’re able to say right now.
The OPP confirm they stopped a vehicle and made an arrest this morning on highway 27 south of Mapleview, and it involved the tactical unit. We received calls about the sound of gunshots in the area this morning, Sgt. Peter Leon says it wasn’t gunshots, but rather special equipment deployed by the tactical unit.
