High Speed Chase Averted In Midland

A quick assessment lead police to discontinue a high speed chase through the town of Midland this week but that didn’t stop the suspect. Who officers say drove through a speed trap, two red lights and eventually ended up in a car dealership parking lot. Police say that’s when things got messy. Officers discovered the suspect had lost control and smashed into several new vehicles before coming to a stop. An 18 year old man is charged with multiple offenses, including Flight from Police, Dangerous Operation, Possession of Marijuana and Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
