George Gaynes, who found fame as a foster parent on “Punky Brewster” and Commandant Lassard on “Police Academy” has died. Gaynes was at his daughter’s house in Washington on Monday when he passed away. He was 98-years-old. Gaynes daughter Iya confirmed the death to the New York Times. Gaynes appeared on hundreds of episodes of sitcoms and TV dramas. He also did work on the big screen, appearing in films like “Tootsie” with Dustin Hoffman in 1982.

Ryan Reynolds’ “little Ryan Reynolds” definitely got the people into the theatres this weekend; breaking records and everything!!!! Deadpool brought in $135 Million in three days, making it the biggest opening for an R-rated film in history. Deadpool surpassed The Matrix for the highest grossing opening for an R-Rated movie. The Matrix opened with $91.8 million back in 2003, but Deadpool smashed that with a $135 Million opening.

 

That awkward moment when Paul McCartney, Beck, and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins can’t get into Tyga’s Grammy party…Clearly an epic fail…. Paul was with Beck, last year’s Album of the Year winner, and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins last night. They ended up at a club called Hyde Hyde for the Republic Records party, where people actually recognized them. Grammy rating were not good!

According to Nielsen, 58th Annual Grammy Awards delivered a hair under 25 million viewers and a 7.7 rating among adults ages 18-to-49, marking the musical spectacular’s weakest performance in the demographic since 2009.

 

Kanye West had a big backstage meltdown at “Saturday Night Live” last weekend and almost walked off the show. Kim and Lorne Michaels had to beg him to stay and perform.

 

David Bowie’s filmmaker son Duncan Jones appears to have taken a swipe at Lady Gaga following her epic tribute performance to the rock icon at Monday’s Grammy Awards. Duncan appeared to be far from impressed, expressing his disapproval with a telling Twitter post following the Grammys telecast. “‘overexcited or irrational, typically as a result of infatuation or excessive enthusiasm mentally confused’,” he wrote, sharing the Oxford English dictionary definition of the word ‘gaga’. “Damn it! What IS that word!?”
