Home Invasion In Markham

York Regional Police are seeking witnesses following a home invasion in Markham. Police say on Wednesday they were called to an address in the area of Kennedy and Steels after someone banged on the front door and the home owners answered. Only to find themselves pushed out of the way, the suspects, armed with knives, then forced themselves inside. The victim’s were placed in a room while the suspects searched the house and took wallets and cash. Police are now searching for two men, described as black, 6 foot 3, 25 to 35 years old, with medium builds and they were wearing gloves and masks at the time. Police ask that anyone with information call them or Crime Stoppers.
