We’ve officially hit a weird point in the world. We’re using games to predict the nature of a deadly VIRUS.
Go 2020. We’re doing great so far.
The development team behind Plague Inc has pleaded to the public:
PLEASE STOP USING OUR GAME TO PREDICT THE CORONAVIRUS.
I decided to recreate the #coronavirus in Plague Inc. using the same symptoms and mutations and it's not looking good guys😂 pic.twitter.com/iU7H3GbKaP

In a statement the company said:
“We specifically designed the game to be realistic and informative, while not sensationalizing serious real-world issues” – Ndemic Creations
“Please remember that Plague Inc. is a game, not a scientific model and that the current coronavirus outbreak is a very REAL situation that is impacting a huge number of people.”
I mean, DUH.
Seriously if you use this for fun, that’s cool. Don’t USE it to doomsday prep!
Be calm, be patient, and get your info from local and global health care authorities!
