Impaired In Innisfil

Police say they have a concerned citizen to thank for helping get a drunk driver of the roads last night. Just after 8:30 South Simcoe Police received a call regarding a possible impaired driver leaving Innisfil. Several updates were provided on the vehicles whereabouts. Police eventually caught up to the driver and his passenger. The 52 year old Etobicoke man was taken to the police station for breath samples, which proved to be over the limit.  He was charged accordingly. His passenger however. Refused to get out of the vehicle and at one point, locked the doors and refused to open them for police! She was eventually “removed” from the car but later released.
